Start wearing baby from birth. Just like the Hipster Plus, special attention was paid to baby’s hip positioning when designing the infant insert.
The unique angled pillow base keeps the newborn’s
hips in a natural fetal position. The double padded back panel ensures
proper support for baby’s curved spine and the thick head support
ensures baby’s head and neck are protected.
Note:
The purpose of the infant insert is to protect baby’s soft spine and
keep baby’s head from falling backwards. Since newborns develop
differently, there is no maximum age limit. As long as baby is not able
to hold up his or her head, an infant insert is needed for the double
shoulder front facing in position. For carrying the newborn with just
the hip seat in the newborn hold, an infant insert is not necessary.
